1. THE REFERENCES OF THE STAFF
Let's address a topic that is decidedly little known in the market of domestic staff for families, namely the references of previous employers. How do they actually work?
Generally the domestic worker leaves his job to make a leap in economic quantity, or to earn a greater sum than he earned before. This is statistically the most common real reason for the termination of a subordinate employment relationship in the domestic market between the employer and the domestic worker.
You will therefore understand that in most cases there will not be a letter of reference issued by the previous employer who will have felt abandoned by his domestic worker for a mere economic reason, often masked with rather banal and repetitive excuses by the domestic worker who wants to change jobs.
One of the many excuses used is a sudden need to return to one's country for an urgent family problem, in reality one moves a few hundred meters, to another house.
Therefore, as we have observed, in a case like this, the letter of reference from the previous employer was not issued. This does not mean that the domestic worker does not deserve a reference but that he does not have one.
In the few cases where the relationship between employer and employee has not been broken off in a bad way but rather with the goodwill of both parties, there will be a signed and signed reference letter. Be careful, this letter does not provide in almost all cases the possibility that the aforementioned letter, with names, telephone numbers and so on, be distributed to anyone, but only to those who really need to verify this reference. In fact, given the continuous search for work typical of the domestic worker, this reference would be contacted constantly and several times a year to confirm what was stated in this letter by anyone who was considering hiring the domestic worker. This would be decidedly unacceptable and contrary to any form of privacy. Having said this, it must be considered that a real reference works when you know the person offering the reference in order to be able to take it into serious consideration. Our agency, on the market since 1983, knows most of the large Italian families and therefore knows perfectly well when the reference can be considered or not.
The issue of privacy in the reference letter is so important and delicate that only the domestic worker can provide the letter to the potential employer, as he is entitled to do so. Agencies that deliver such letters with the data of previous employers and their telephone numbers or emails are not attentive to the provisions of the law on privacy and are not entitled in any way to do so, since they are not authorized by the referee with a specific written and entitled letter.

9. The customer will conduct interviews and tests for up to 8 consecutive days in order to decide which candidate to approve - see service contract.
Approval takes place via written communication via chat or email.
10. Upon approval of the candidate figure from those proposed by Domostaff, the customer is required to pay the service balance commission:

Candidate presentation procedure
1. Domostaff will present candidates to the customer until they are satisfied. See service contract.
2. Domostaff Customer Service will propose candidates to the customer, based on the characteristics indicated by the customer for the requested service. When the customer is interested in getting in touch with a candidate, Domostaff will provide all the contact details. The client will contact the candidates and will carry out tests lasting a maximum of eight consecutive days. The client may also just meet the candidate and proceed to confirm the same as approved for a subsequent hiring, at his choice.

3. Once the candidate has been approved, the client is required to pay the Domostaff fees, indicated in the service offer sent by electronic mail, economic conditions always variable depending on the service performed.
4. If the client, following the activity of the candidate approved and/or hired and therefore in force at his home, declares his intention to replace him, Domostaff will provide for the replacement without further costs, within the following 90 days.

Service Activation Fee
The Client will pay a one-off, non-refundable activation fee (the "Registration Fee") to Domostaff. The activation fee is always due upon signing or accepting the service agreement. No additional charges are required until the Client approves or hires a Candidate.
Candidate Introductions
Domostaff will introduce potential Candidates ("Candidates") for hire by the Client.
Introduction Time Limits
If the Client does not choose to hire any of the initial Candidates introduced to the Client by Domostaff, Domostaff will arrange additional introductions until the Client's needs are met in accordance with current market possibilities.
The test
Following an assignment by the client, Domostaff will present selected service personnel based on the parameters indicated by the client. The client can carry out tests of the proposed personnel for a maximum of 8 days. The client, if the candidate is of interest to him and there are no time conditions, can decide not to carry out tests and to confirm - approve or even directly hire the candidate.
Service settlement commission
If a Client chooses to approve a candidate, after having met him or even hire a Candidate, the Client undertakes to immediately confirm this in writing and forward the payment of the service settlement commission to Domostaff. Service settlement commissions may vary, those are appropriate to the service provided. The service settlement commission is always indicated in the offer that the client has received from Domostaff.
Replacement guarantee
Domostaff provides a 90 calendar day guarantee in relation to a Candidate placed under this agreement.
